About
Welcome to Candido, Inc.
Hello. My name is Candido and I’m a husband, father, coach, and Family CFO.
Many years ago, this Texas boy met a Minnesota girl and the rest is history. God has blessed us with three children: Anamaria, Dido, and Tomás. The joy they have brought us is immeasurable.
On the work front, I make it so people don’t have to worry about money; or at least not sweat the details.
I’ve been at this Family CFO model for about 20 years now. The idea is simple. In business, the CEO casts the vision and sets the course. He/she isn’t in charge of the finance function but entrusts it to another: the chief financial officer (CFO). What if you could have that for your family? That’s what I do. My clients outsource or delegate their personal finances to me, which frees them up for a simpler, happier life. It’s pretty cool.
When I’m not working, I value time spent with my family and friends. Now that our “nest” is empty, my wife, Kari, and I love traveling and experiencing this amazing world of ours. I’ve invested a lot of time tending the soil of this little business and it’s been a struggle. But she’s always given me the space and support to do it. It’s so satisfying to enjoy the harvest with her.
That’s a bit about me. I hope to learn about you sometime soon.
God bless,
Candido Palomarez
My Philosophy
A philosophy is a set of thoughts and ideas about a thing. With that in mind, here’s my philosophy about wealth management and financial independence...
- It just doesn’t have to be that complicated.
- I don’t teach clients what’s working today, but what has always worked.
- Trying to beat the market is akin to trying to beat Las Vegas. It’s a fool’s errand.
- The Plan is the dog; the portfolio, the tail. We must never let the tail wag the dog.
